Funeral services for Zelda Johnson, 91, of Chatham, LA will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. R.C. Smith will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Johnson was born April 13, 1922 in Portland, Arkansas and passed away November 19, 2013 in West Monroe. She was well known for her good cooking. Mrs. Johnson was a member of First Baptist Church of Chatham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wildred Johnson; son, Douglas Johnson; daughter, Deborah Johnson; parents, John and Mattie Goulette; brothers; David Goulette, Houston Goulette, Frank Goulette and Pat Goulette; sister, Orneida Jordan. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sons; David Johnson and wife Jamie and Randy Johnson; grandsons; Shawn Johnson and wife Jayne, Stephen Johnson and wife Melody, Keith Johnson and Satchel Johnson; granddaughter; Jessica Wright and husband Jamie; great-grandson, Kade Fortenberry; great-granddaughters; Regan Wright, Mackenzie, Macie and Mallorie Johnson and Taylor Johnson. Visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
