Funeral services for Yvonne Orr Warner, 89, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 25, 2011 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Dwight Munn will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Warner was born January 16, 1922 in Coushatta, LA and passed away November 23, 2011 in West Monroe, LA. She was a retired educator who taught in Natchitoches Parish, Monroe City and Ouachita Parish School Systems. Most of her teaching career was at West Monroe Junior High School. Mrs. Warner was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip E. Orr, Sr., and her husband of thirty years, Bert Warner. She is survived by her sons, James Warner, and David Warner and wife Carolyn; granddaughters Tiffany Adams and husband Clint, Stacy Sellers and husband Billy, and Robin Warner; great-grandchildren Kylie Sellers and Addison Adams; brother Philip E. Orr, Jr. and wife Gerri; sister Billie Sue Orr; and niece Cynthia Rollow. Pallbearers will be Stephen Foster, Ron Powell, Scott Kadar, Toby Truex, and Billy Sellers. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. The family would like to thank the staff of StoneyBrook for many years of love and care.
