Woodfin “Woodie” Kennedy Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville, LA Funeral services for Woodfin “Woodie” Kennedy, age 79, of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 24, 2010, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Officiating will be Larry White. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Taylor Cemetery in Farmerville, LA., under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Farmerville. Woodie was born on October 8, 1931 and passed away on November 21, 2010. He was a member of Wards Chapel Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lee Kennedy; his parents, Bert and Cora Kennedy; brother, R.B. Tinker Kennedy; sisters, Lavene Williams and Louise Puddister and son Butch Wallace. He is survived by his daughter, Georgia Osborn and husband Charles of Farmerville, LA; granddaughter, Peggy Moore and husband Scott of West Monroe, LA; Michelle Clay and husband Marvin of Bosco, LA; Bryan Osborn of Farmerville, LA; great-grandchildren, Brent Moore of West Monroe, LA; Heather Wedgeworth of Bosco, LA; Daniel Wedgeworth of Calhoun, LA; D.J. Evans of Bosco, LA; Stephen Wallace of Denver CO; great-great grandchildren Jasmine Wedgeworth of Bosco, LA; Jonathan French of Bosco, LA; brother, Lawrence Kennedy and wife Doris of Farmerville, LA; sisters, Lucille Hollis of Haughton, LA; and Terry Davidson and husband March of Farmerville, LA. Pallbearers will be Chris Walker, and Forest Clay, and grandsons, Brent Moore, Daniel Wedgeworth, D.J. Evans, Bryan Osborn.
