Funeral services for Wilma Francis Moore Cook will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 20, 2010 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Randy Burdeaux will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hall Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. She was born February 7, 1935 in Monroe, LA and passed away November 17, 2010 in West Monroe. Wilma's visits from family and friends were the highlight of her days. Her quiet, gentle nature, coupled with her tolerance, courage and perseverance endeared her to loved ones and caregivers. She will be genuinely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is finally “doing all right” and at rest with our Lord. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Cook, parents, Frank W. and Kathleen Moore, daughter Dorothy “Sissy” Jones, brother Clinton B. Moore, and sister Floy Jean Jackson. Wilma is survived by her son, Wayne “PeeWee” Cook and wife Debbie; daughter, Pat Buckalew and husband Wayne; brothers, Billy Moore and wife Bessie and Donald Moore and wife Carol; sisters, Edna Wilkins and husband Paul, Lucille Crenshaw and husband Henson, Shirley Taylor and husband Jack, Linda Myers and husband Stanley and Dianne Rumbelow and husband Ernie, and her “best bud” Joseph; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Wayne Moore, Marty Moore, Keith Crenshaw, Neil Crenshaw, David Brinson and Steve Brinson. Sincere thanks to Drs.
