Funeral services for William “Randy” Beckham, Jr., 41, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 3, 2011 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Greg Clark and Rev. Randy Burdeaux will be officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Randy was born December 15, 1969 in West Monroe and passed away May 31, 2011 in West Monroe. He was currently employed with Sysco Food Service. He worked for Marsala Beverage Company for 17 years. Randy graduated from Ouachita Parish High School and was a member of First Baptist Church Monroe. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Opal Jones, Bernard D. Beckham, Buddy and Ethel Coleman, Justin and Ruby McIver, Robert H. Crocker, Sr. and Minnie Lou Flurry; great-grandparents, Virgil and Emma Cummings. Randy was a wonderful husband, loving and proud father, son, great brother and friend, and was dedicated to his family. His favorite pasttimes were hunting, golfing and spending time with his three girls. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Kelly Crocker Beckham; daughters, Emily Kaye Beckham and Randi Lynn Beckham; mother, Nore Land and husband Norman; father, Randy Beckham Sr. and wife Vera Rose; sister, Jennifer Bridges and husband Lucas; brothers; Billy Beckham and wife Tracie, Jimmy Beckham and wife Hannah; mother and father-in-law, Bob and Gloria Crocker; sisters-in-law, Kim Thomas and husband Mitch, Kristy Barton and husband Chris, and Angel Strickland Beckham; nieces, Haley Beckham, Chloe Beckham, Madison Beckham, Caroline Thomas, Abbey Barton and Allie Barton; nephews, Cody Beckham and Drew Thomas; special friends, Trey and Kelli Green and Greg and Crystie Oden. Pallbearers will be Billy Beckham, Jimmy Beckham, Cody Beckham, Lucas Bridges, Chris Barton, Mitch Thomas, Trey Green and Greg Oden. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Randy was a great person... we spent many summers lifeguarding at the neighborhood pool, he will be missed

We are Trey's parents and we would like to let you know that you are in our prayers. We only met you all once but seen Randy a few times and he was such a wonderful guy. Just always remember he lives on in your heart and is just a prayer away. Again, we are so sorry for your and your girls lose and if there is anything we can do for you just please let us know. Kelly I am so sorry for your loss. Randy was a great friend of mine. He was more like a father figure than a friend. He has helped me more than anyone will ever know. He has always had my best interest at heart. From letting me borrow his super nintendo games, to getting me an interview at the place he worked. I miss him so much already. Randy was a remarkable person!! The first time I met him was at my Mom's store "Woods Grocery" in Ruston, I felt as though I had known him forever!!! He was just that kind of man. I had the privlege of knowing and being freinds with Randy for 20 years. We worked together at Coca-Cola and at Budweiser. Randy was always a jokester who loved to laugh and have a good time. I know that Kelly and his girls were the center of Randy's universe and he loved those girls more than life itself. It's so hard to believe Randy is gone. Kelly, I am so very sorry for you and the girls. Randy was always a joy to be around and there was never a dull moment. I just want you to know he made such a big impact on Jeffery through the years. It is said you never know the impression you make on someone, but I can tell you Randy made an impression on my son and he will carry it with him through out the rest of his life. I am very honored to have know Randy and considered him a friend.
