Funeral services for William R. Dupree 81 of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 2, 2011 at First Baptist Church Calhoun. Rev. Warner Aswell and Rev. Scott Thompson will be officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Calhoun under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mr. Dupree was born July 20, 1929 in San Francisco, California and passed away June 28, 2011 in West Monroe. He was a member of First Baptist Church Calhoun and was a former member of the Calhoun Civic Club. Mr. Dupree was preceded in death by a son, William R. Dupree, Jr. and a sister, Francis Bryant He is survived by his wife Joyce Dupree; children; Michael Dean Dupree and wife Kimberly Jackson, Debra Ross and husband James, Teresa Robert, Betty Simons and husband Wesley, Bonnie Cox and husband William, Belinda Taylor and husband Randy, Cindy Schneider, Ellis Pepper and wife Melanie, Timmy Pepper and wife Lorie, Jimmy Pepper and wife Brandy; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Paul Reiger, Dustin Miller, Jimmy Pepper, Timmy Pepper, Christopher Pepper and A. J. Freeman. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
