Funeral services for Mr. Wilbur Charles Littleton will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 14, 2016 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Kevin Stewart and Bro. Laymond Tucker will officiate. Interment will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mr. Littleton was born on July 27, 1930 and passed away on August 13, 2016. Mr. Littleton was a veteran of the United States Army and owned Littleton and Harper Truck Lines. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and former member of the Louisiana Quarter Horse Association and the Louisiana Horse Racing Commission. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, June Littleton; and 2 brothers, Willard and Vollie Littleton.Mr. Littleton is survived by his son, Wayne Littleton and wife Tracy; daughter, Sherri Roberts and husband Mike; son, Scott Littleton and wife Lisa; son, Steve Littleton and wife Stephanie; brother in law, Lloyd Lewis; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, David Littleton, Brian Roberts, Ben Littleton, Josh Littleton, Blake Littleton, John Thomas Littleton, Nathan Littleton and Ryan Jefferson. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Creed, Clyde Elliott, and Harold Snowden. Visitation will be held from noon until 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. I did not know Mr. Littleton personally but his influence in my family was easily seen. He was my brother-in-law's father, my sister's father-in-law, and Papaw to my Nephew, Nathan and my Niece, Claire. His presence will be sorely missed. I am so very sorry for your loss.
