Karen and family - Bro. Wayne was one of my favorite people. He always was there for me working at the Association in Cleveland. He always brought me a smile when he walked in and left. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a ray of sunshine to me. I will be forever grateful for his friendship. He will be missed greatly.

Isaiah33:24 says "No resident will will say they are sick." what a happy time that will be.

Bro Wayne was faithful in any church to which he was called. When cancer entered his body he did not let it keep him from doing service for the Lord. When his cancer took his service for the Lord I am sure Wayne was ready to face the Lord in victory! Karen I feel your heart ❤️ is broken beyond understanding. Just know that Becky and I are praying for you. I wish Shirley and I could come for the service but we are fighting the allergy/respiratory condition. Karen know you are loved by alll of us and hopefully in the future we will meet again. God is faithful as He hold you with His strength and direction in the future. Stay in touch through Shirley.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Wayne Sistrunk was my pastor at Northside Baptist Church, Lafayette, Louisiana. Not only that BUT you were my friend. Some of our fondest memories were when you and Karen cruised with Steve and I to Alaska. Before Steve entered the picture, we traveled to Washington State. You didn’t think I would throw that snowball on Mt. Baker!! Well done faithful friend and servant of Jesus! Prayers with Karen, family and friends at this time!

Bro. Wayne was a faithful servant of the Lord and it's a joy to know he is now in the presence of the One he preached about for so many years. Praying for all the family and his church family in the days ahead.
