Graveside service for Wanda Saucier, 94, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 14, 2020 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Luellen officiating under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Wanda was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church West Monroe. She was retired from Armstrong Cricket Farm. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, B. J. “Jack” Saucier; brother William Simpson; sisters Margie Williams and Laura Roy; 2 daughters Diane Evans and Carolyn Flanagan and grandchild Alicia Evans.
Wanda is survived by her grandchildren Amy Hubbard, Chad Evans and his companion B. J.; 3 great-grandchildren Allison Hubbard Mathus and her wife Kimber, Kaleb McClain and Sable Hodge; 4 great-great grandchildren Karson, Brendyn, Brantley and Brayden.

Wanda and I spoke every few months. I got to see her at the all class reunion of Morrow High School in 2009. Her mother, Ms Alice Simpson was our close neighbor when I was growing up. I would see Wanda on her visits from Monroe to see her mother. I remember Diane and Carolyn as we were all pretty close in age. I will miss our phone visits and remembering years of growing up in the Morrow/Big Cane community. She was such a sweet and kind person and will surely be missed by anyone that knew her. There are no words for a loss of this magnitude. My Aunt Wanda was my only living aunt and was the strongest and sweetest woman I know. Her sense of humor and love for friends and family carried her far. She had a huge heart and loved big. I will miss our long chats and your funny jokes.
