Walter ¨Bubba Anchors Bartlett Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Walter ¨Bubba Anchors Bartlett, 76, of Monroe, LA will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA officiating will be Byron Boykin. Interment to follow at Mount Nebo Cemetery, Downsville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Mr. Bartlett was born March 8, 1931 in Atlanta, GA and departed to be with the Lord on June 25, 2007 in Monroe. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Willis Anchors Bartlett and his father Walter Bartlett, Jr. and step-mother Pauline Holtsclaw Bartlett. Mr. Bartlett served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired from McDonald-Douglas Boeing Aircraft as a master layout engineer and was an avid golfer. Mr. Bartlett is survived by his loving and caring wife Betty May Bartlett. She was the love of his life. Five children; Betty Best and husband Ed Best of Ruston, Ginger Miletello of Ruston, Donna Andre and husband Dennis of Oak Hills, CA, Frankie Miletello and wife Connie of Monroe, MaDonna Stansberry of CA and Walter Ralph Bartlett of CA; eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Perry and husband Pee Wee of GA, Linda Gail Mimbs of GA, and two brothers, Charles Richard Bartlett of GA and Donald Keith Bartlett and wife Dr. Maria Bartlett of GA, and many caring cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Daniel Franks, Seth Franks, Jacob Best, Garrick Walsworth, Scott Perry and Michael Perry. The family expresses special thanks to all of his care takers.
