Graveside services for Vivian Marie Hughes Bass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 17, 2023 at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens with Ron Lowe officiating under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Vivian Marie Hughes Bass passed peacefully from this life on July 12, 2023 at the age of 92, and was born July 28, 1930. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert Earl Lee Bass, Jr.; parents; grandson Jason and Paul and great-grandson Jonathan Branam; and a sister, Charlene. Vivian filled many roles in her long life, but delighted in talking about the years working as a pediatric nurse. She was a talented seamstress, a good cook who often cooked food from the gardens she grew, a dedicated mother and grandmother, and a loving wife.

Vivian is survived by her children Robert Oren Bass and wife Teresa, Ivan Neil Bass and wife, Pam and Kim Bass Istre and husband Jerry; a large group of grandchildren and  great- grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
