Private family graveside services were held for Victor David Cascio at St. Matthew Catholic Church cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Monroe. Victor was a beloved lifelong resident of Monroe and owner of The Chateau restaurant. Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Joe David Cascio. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marie Fruge Cascio and his three sons, Joe David Cascio II and his wife, Rene, Victor David Cascio, Jr. and Sarah Camp, and Rodney Cascio and his wife, Caroline. He is also survived by his treasured grandchildren, Katherine Marie Cascio, Joe David Cascio, III, Carter Christopher Cascio, Benjamin Maher Cascio and John Christopher Cascio; and many family members and deeply cherished friends. A celebration of Victor's life will be held for family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and School, 800 Marquette Street, Monroe, LA 71201, Wellspring, 1515 Jackson Street, Monroe, LA 71201, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
