Funeral services for Mrs. Vadie L. Burchell, 84, of West Monroe, La., will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in the chapel of Kilpatrick?s Funeral Home in West Monroe. Officiating will be Butch Pilcher and Darrell Pilcher. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.She was born March 29, 1923 in Monroe, La. and passed away February 16, 2008 in West Monroe, La. She is preceded in death by her father; Henry Brown, mother; Eudie Franks Pilcher, brother; Basil Pilcher, husbands; Carl Bell and Alvin Burchell. She is survived by her daughters; Carra Lee Redmond and husband Donald, Delores McCaleb and special friend Charlie Lenard, Charlotte Burchell and special friend Melvin Balsamo, son; Roy Bell and wife Debra, brothers; Darrell, Butch and Wayne Pilcher. Also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.Pallbearers will be; Jeff Pilcher, Frank Pilcher, Jason Sutton, Wayne Pilcher, Bill Clower, Tavis Bryant, Brian Ducote.Visitation will be Monday, February 18, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
