Graveside service for Tommie Kelly Goodwin, 98, of Seagoville, TX., will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Farmerville City Cemetery in Farmerville. Bro. Ben Walker will be officiating under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA.
Tommie was a French, Spanish and Geography teacher and retired from West Monroe High School. She later became a business owner in the Dallas Metroplex area of Texas until her death. She was born on April 3, 1923 in Bernice, LA and passed away in Fort Worth, TX, on January 17, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence S. Goodwin, parents, Tom and Daisy Kelly, siblings Marie Hamner (Lory), Doris Dann (Charles), Charlotte Hennigan (Dickie) and Marion Kelly.
Left to cherish her memories are sons, Dennis C. Milam (Deborah); David N. Milam (Sherry); granddaughters, Kelly M. Bolden, Katie O. Bowe; grandsons, Scott A. Milam (Lauren), Matthew D. Milam (Morgan); and Daniel C. Milam; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dorothy Ann Kelly; and a host of nieces and nephews.
