On Friday July 14, 2023, Tiffany Renee Statham went home to be with the Lord in Monroe, Louisiana. She was a ray of sunshine to all those who really knew her. She was a fighter and she was deeply devoted to reuniting with her children, fighting her addiction by staying in recovery and never giving up. She was cherished and adored by her siblings. Her only wish was to be with her children and her family. She was only 39 years old.
Tiffany is survived by her two children, her son Dayton Leslie (Tiara Gear) of Bossier, LA, her daughter Susan Silva of Maryland, her beloved grandchildren Dayton Jace & Callie Sage Leslie, her big sisters: Christi Kay Gallion (Jim Gallion) of Bossier City, LA and Crystalline S. Meshell (Adam Meshell) of Baton Rouge LA, her beloved “Nanny” Joan G. Linacre of Shreveport, LA, her nephew Joey Scaglione, her niece Jordan Keenan, and her niece Sarah Statham, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family across the country and friends across the state of LA. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother Patricia Elaine (Linacre) Statham when Tiffany was just 6 years old, also her Grandma Mary Statham, Grandpa David Linacre, Grandpa William Statham & Nana Giovanna Statham, her Uncle Robert Statham, and more recently the loss of her devoted father Larry Gene Statham, who passed earlier this year on Mar. 31st in the Philippines. Her beloved big brother, James Noel Statham was last seen on April 17, 2006 in Dekalb, Texas (Bowie County) and is still considered a missing person.
Tiffany Renee Statham was born on August 6, 1983 at Christus Schumpert in Shreveport, LA. She graduated from Southwood High School in May of 2000 and went on to attend two years of Baton Rouge Community College. Tiffany welcomed her son Dayton in 2002 and her daughter Susan in 2005. Tiffany was proud of her children and was so excited to be a grandmother. She was the baby, the littlest sister of 4 children. She always had a smile, a hug, and a fun spirit. She enjoyed singing and worshipping at church, she believed in God, was baptized and prayed continuously to be reunited with her family and to be well. She loved all children, and was usually loving on any children of friends. She hated to be bored. She enjoyed photos and taking photos, trips to the beach and the lake with friends and family. She loved nice clothes, had an eye for fashion, and even modeled for a Boutique and Dress for Success. She would want us all to be kinder to those people with so little, to be especially supportive and kind to women in domestic abuse situations, to not judge but support people recovering from addictions, living with mental health issues, and experiencing homelessness. She was a kind, loving, and beautiful soul. Tiffany will be missed by all who knew her.
