Thomas R. ¨Pops Trainer Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, Louisiana Funeral services for Mr. Thomas R. ¨Pops Trainer, age 73, of Monroe, LA, will be 1:00 PM Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA. Rev. Rayland Trisler will be officiating. Interment will follow at Monroe Memorial Park in Monroe, LA. ¨Pops was born September 5, 1933 in Chatham, LA and passed away June 26, 2007 in Monroe, LA. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Monroe, LA and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was also a Naval Veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Betty Finch Trainer. ¨Pops is survived by his children: Debbie Hunter and husband, David of Alexandria, LA, Tommy Trainer and wife, Rachel of Monroe, LA, John Trainer and wife, Denise of Monroe, LA, Peggy Lindsay and husband, Robert of West Monroe, LA, Virginia Garcia and husband, Mario of West Monroe, LA, Carolyn Tomino and husband, Roy of Gretna, LA, and Rickey Trainer and wife, Robin of Monroe, LA; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister: Sue Gulla and husband, Pete of Baton Rouge, LA. Visitation will be Friday, June 29, 2007, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. ¨Pops will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
