Funeral services for Thomas R.(Butch) Williamson will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ruston. Dr. Michael Hawley will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston. Visitation will be July 26, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 prior to the service at the church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA. Thomas R. “Butch” Williamson died peacefully on July 23, 2017 at his home in Ruston, La.Thomas Ragan Williamson (Butch) was born in Ruston, La on December 19, 1936. He graduated from Ruston High School in 1955 and attended Louisiana Tech. He was the owner of Jiffy Mart for 48 years.Butch was preceeded in death by his parents, Fletcher & Julia Williamson; brother, Edwin Williamson; sister-in-law, Evelyn Williamson; and son-in-law James R. Raggio.Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Patsy Jean Liner Williamson; daughter, Tammy Williamson Raggio; son, Keith Williamson and wife, Debbie; son, Karl Williamson; daughter, Tonya Williamson Wade and husband, Colin; five grandsons: Kaleb Williamson, Jared Williamson, Jordan Raggio, Blake Wade, and Mike Bradshaw; two granddaughters: Taylor Williamson & Lauren Wade; two great grandchildren; three sisters in-law; one brother-in-law; and numerous nieces & nephews. Pallbearers will be Mike White, Mike Walpole, Michael White, Mike Bradshaw, Clay Peterson, and Greg Baracato.
