A private celebration service for Theresa K. Day, 64, of Linville, La., will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020, at the Liberty Baptist Church in Linville, La. Officiating the service will be Rev. Bubba Hoggatt. Public visitation will be held preceding the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of service under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Graveside services will follow in the Liberty Cemetery adjacent to the church.

Theresa was born on July 12, 1955 in Monroe, La. and passed away on May 26, 2020 also in Monroe, LA.  She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Linville and  was a former caregiver.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Jeroline Love. Theresa loved painting, candle making, nature and her sweet pets.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gordon “Buddy” Day of Linville, LA; 2 sons, Shannon Day of Swartz, LA; and Johnathan Day of Linville, LA, and a brother, Stacy Love and wife Connie.

Pallbearers will be Bill Love, Craig Armstrong, J.J. Austin, Daniel Morgan, Mikey Love, Mike Albritton and Justin Callicott. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Reynolds, Charles McGraw and Martin Kelly.

Memorials may be sent to the Liberty Baptist Church or the Liberty Cemetery, Inc.
