Tanya Dianne Dumas Willis is someone we all knew and loved. She was respected and she protected for all. Tanya loved the unloved and enjoyed the simpler things in life, like family, gardening, watching the birds and being the best wife she could be. Tanya was the most stubborn woman of all time. Proving time and time again that nothing and no one would ever come before her family, all the way to the end.

Tanya passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at St. Francis Medical Center around 5:00 P.M. She peacefully left us. We just know that her Daddy was waiting to walk her through the gates. Tanya had a very brave and painful fight with cancer with no complaints. Her family was by her side, the entire time. We lost the greatest woman most of us have known way too soon.

Tanya was preceded in death by her father, Joe Dumas, Sr. and her second father, Robert Bridges.

Tanya is survived by her husband, Terry Willis; three children, Carl Dumas, Chelsea Primm and Tiffany Willis; grandchildren, Joseph Dumas, Jr., Morgan Dumas, Jayden Dumas, Zander Oswald, Caiden Toups, Kyli Hilt, Gavin Hilt, and Warren Dumas; siblings, Matt Dumas, Stephanie Dumas Johnson and husband Neil, and Joe Dumas, Jr. and wife Felicia; mother, Debbie Frost Bridges; step – mother, Danna Dumas; many other cherished family and friends.

Please join us in having a gathering to honor Tanya from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Uncle Joe's house is where I wanted to be,was the place to be and where you could find me every chance I could so I have way to many fun and fond memories to list.Us girls were always looking for what mischief we could be finding ourselves getting into next,which led to so many giggles and outright hard belly laughs and tears but now the tears flow because you left this earth way to soon,you were loved by so many and will missed by all that love you still.May you rest in peace my sweet,beautiful cousin.... My thoughts,prayers and love are for you all!

Tanya was my “ bonus daughter” I loved her because she was easy to love and she was always loving and kind to me. She will be missed everyday by her husband Terry, her 3 children , her grandchildren, siblings and friends that knew her well. Fly high Tanya ❤️

This breaks my heart. Mama tanya was like our childhood and adulthood mama. She was the "cool one" were we always wanted to be. She was always down for school night sleepovers (even when our moms weren't lol) and she was truly a fierce woman. She could out work most men. Time is a thief. I'm so worried about my childhood BFF Chelsea her daughter. We all are feeling pain for her and will be there for her. I love you mama Tanya and chels. And tiff too. Prayers for yall I love you
