Funeral services for Rev. Stephen Wesley Landry, 59 of West Monroe, will be held at 10AM, Friday, December 21, 2012 at The Assembly. West Monroe. Rev. Shane Warren and Rev. Barry Brister will be officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Stephen was born June 13, 1953 in Honolulu, Hawaii and passed away December 18, 2012 in West Monroe. He served his God, his country, and his family faithfully, pouring out love on all he met. He is survived by his wife, Shannon April Landry; daughters, Tiffany Marie Briley and husband James and Colleen Rene' Landry; sons, David Wesley Landry and wife Melinda, and Michael Jonathan Landry and wife Tiffanie; grandchildren, Elise Marie Smith and Malaki Briley; brothers, John Landry and Charles Landry and wife Ann; sister, Annette Effird and husband Todd; father, Bertney Charles Landry; mother-in-law, Marie Louise April; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Lanelle Landry; brother, Jack Ewell Landry; and father-in-law, Kenneth April, Sr. Pallbearers will be David Henry, Bill Autrey, Dr. Robert Snyder, LaVaugh Landry, Rufus Cook and Tom Groce. Honorary pallbearer John Belton. Visitation will be Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm at The Assembly in West Monroe, LA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Assembly-S Landry to be distributed to his favorite charities/ministries.
