Services for Shirley Carol Fautheree will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Monroe with visitation from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Interment will be at Hall/Rhymes Cemetery in Rayville, Louisiana under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Monroe. Reverend  Betty Swanson will officiate the service.

Shirley was born on August 2, 1942 in Monroe, LA and passed away on December 8, 2021 in Monroe, LA.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Jefferson Fautheree and Maggie Lucinda Viola Fautheree;

She is survived by her brother, Huey Fautheree of Georgetown, Texas; niece, Janice Ulmer of Huntsville, Texas; nephews, David W. Fautheree of Dallas, Texas, John A. Fautheree of Moore, Oklahoma and numerous great nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by special and dear friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Wyrick.

Shirley worked for over 40 years and retired from St. Francis Medical Center as a registered nurse. She was a devoted member of Lea Joyner United Methodist Church where she was very active in many areas including mission trips and the youth groups.

Pallbearers will be Gary Richardson, Bill Apple, David Key, Clint Haddock, Allen Smith and Gary Oliveau.
