Funeral services for Mrs. Sheila Rene Ford, 51, of Chatham, LA are at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, with Rev. Rayford Higgs officiating. Interment follows at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Ford was born February 19, 1959 in Winnfield, LA and passed away October 23, 2010 at home following a sudden illness. She grew up in Winn Parish and attended Calvin High School. She worked in the retail business and owned Patti's Flowers as well as Patti's Candles. Sheila was a loving wife and aunt. Her greatest joy came from time spent with family, especially her nieces Patti and Kelsey, and nephew Jay. She was preceded in death by her father, Isaac Head. Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jimmy Ford; mother Patsy Taylor; brother Kelvin Jay Head, SR. and wife Toni; niece Patti Barton and husband Michael; nephew Kelvin Jay Head, Jr.; niece Kelsey Jaye Head; and great nephews Alex Hayman, Isaac Collier, and Michael Kane Barton; mother-in-law, Marlene Ford; several sisters-in-law and their husbands; brother-in-law and his wife; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Honoring her as pallbearers are Chad Thompson, Sean Thompson, Landon Bartley, Mason Ford, Ralph Fraley, Wendy Thompson, Alexandra Manning, Michael Barton, and Jim Rice.
