Ms Sharmon Leigh Patrick Funeral Services for Ms Sharmon Leigh Patrick, 38, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-West Monroe, with Rev Jerry Steele officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:00PM at Rose-Neath Memorial Gardens in Bossier City, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Sharmon went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2006, after a long illness. A resident of West Monroe, she was a medical clerk at Glenwood Medical Center, a nursing student at Louisiana Tech University and a member of the Harvest Time Fellowship. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during Operation Desert Storm as a medic in the Flight Surgeon's office. Sharmon was a loving mother, a cherished daughter and sister, and a beautiful person. Survivors include her two sons, David Caleb Owen and Beau Jarrod McDonough; Beau's dad, Brian McDonough; mother and stepfather, Evelyn and H.G. Polk; father and stepmother, Cecil and Alice Patrick; dad, Charles R. Scarborough; sisters, Carmen Lynn Plummer and husband Bubba and Carla Berrymen and husband James, Misty Patrick, Meagan Scarborough and Tasa Polk; brothers, Cecil Patrick, Jr. and wife Leanna and Scotty Polk; niece, Caitlin Plummer; special friends; Shae Cothern, Dr. Clinton Guillory and David Dinger; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers will be H. G. Polk, Chris Ray, Larry Plummer, Bryant Fife, Robert Pace, and Shannon Rhodes. Honorary pallbearers include doctors from the LSU Teaching School and her attending physicians. The family would like to especially thank Patients Choice Hospice and all the loving and caring individuals who helped take care of Sharman during her illness. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 9:00PM on Monday, July 17, 2006, at the funeral home in West Monroe.
