Funeral Services for Sarah Chaplin Fife, 57, of Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Sadie, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 8, 2024 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe, Louisiana.

Sarah was born on September 20, 1966 in Monroe and passed away on January 4, 2024 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a retired home health nurse. Sarah loved to shop and travel but most of all she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard Chaplin, Sr. and Dorothy Manning Chaplin; bonus son, Ronnie D. Vallery and sister, Wendy J. Chaplin.

Sarah was survived by her companion of 25 years, Leonard Vallery; five sons, Shawn Fife (Renea Goodman), Christopher Fife, Johnny Fife (Chantelle Easom), Jeremy Fife (Beth), Derek Fife; bonus children, Scott Vallery (Melanie), Michelle Hatten (William); three sisters, Katherine Chaplin (Summer May), Cindy Chaplin (Paul Willis), Rebecca Chaplin (Carl Blanchard); two brothers, Willard Chaplin, Jr. (Shannon), Otis Chaplin, Sr.; twenty-two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews  and other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Fife, Johnny Fife, Derek Fife, Johnny Atchison, Jose Reeves, Jr., and Tyler Vallery.
