Sarah A. Posey Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Funeral service for Sarah A. Posey, age 89, of Ruston will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating the service will Rev. Greg Tipton. Interment will follow at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Dubach under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Posey was born November 29, 1922 in Salem Community MS and passed away May 2, 2012 in Ruston, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and husband Lonnie Posey. Mrs. Posey was a active member of the Mineral Springs Baptist Church for 59 Years. She is survived by daughter: Sarah Wallace and husband Prentice of West Monroe; son: David Posey and wife Pat of Choudrant; grandchildren: James Britt, Deborah Britt Fisher, Chad Posey, Patrick Posey, and Dana Graham; seven great grandchildren; brother: James Johnston and wife Louise of Forest, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Mineral Springs Cemetery Fund. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Friday May 4, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
