Although we cannot be at the Memorial Service for my cousin, her memory will always be in my mind. She was a person whose company was always a fun and a refreshing pleasure. At family gatherings, she added much to the celebrations of just being together with loved ones. Edwin and Betty Hudson

In September of 1976 I met Sara, Oland, Mike and Ellen. What a blessing this family meant to me, as I was a freshman at NLU/ULM and six hours away from my family. Sara was my mom those four years of my college life and she also took care of my teammates from time to time. She was an avid supporter of the NLU tennis team and even traveled to see us play. After college I lost touch with her for several years, but she was always on my mind. I was fortunate to see her in October of 08 for the Women's and Men's Tennis Reunion. What a wonderful, caring and loving woman she was. We have cried, laughed and had so much fun making memories for the last 35 years. I am blessed to have had known and enjoyed Sara. I will deeply miss her here on earth, but will rejoice to see her in heaven. Merri Bradford Jones

Although it has been several years and Sara was part of my life for only a couple of years, I remember her so well as a caring and beautiful person. You may not remember me, but I met both children, son in law, and husband when I worked at Care Team as a RN. It was always a pleasure to come to work and be greeted by such a gracious "boss". She was one with a million dollar smile that would add a warm feeling of truly caring to all of those she came in contact with. So, to her family may she always stay in your hearts. I know anyone who met Sara will never forget her. With sympathy, Laura Sledge
