Officiating the service will be Rev. Brad Jones. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.Mr. Haywood was born January 19, 1931 and passed away January 23, 2008 following a lengthy illness.Mr. Haywood was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Susan Anne Sissy Haywood.Mr. Haywood is survived by wife, Esther Evelyn Kimball Haywood; sons: Tommy Haywood, Sam Haywood Jr. and wife Pippa of Tallapoosa, GA., and Terry Haywood and wife Angie of Choudrant, LA; daughter: Lisa Ann Younse and husband Robert also of Choudrant, LA; grandchildren: Tommy Jr, Rusty, Joey, Jason, and Chloe Haywood all of Winnsboro, LA, Jesse, and Clint Haywood of Tallapoosa, GA, Amberly Runion of Fruithurst, AL, Kimberly Barrett, Brigett Akins , Nathan and Matthew Younse, all of Choudrant, and nineteen great- grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Eddie Parnell, Wayne McNabb, Layne McNabb David Foster, Henry JR Phillips, and Donald Ray Norman.Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Foster, Morton Parnell, Raymond Dukes, and Johnny Foster.The family would like to send a special thank you to the Nurses and Staff of Agape Hospice and especially to Kathy and Jennifer.Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M Friday January 25, 2008 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston also a visitation will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Choudrant from 10:00 A.M to service time.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
