There are no words to explain the emptiness I feel knowing that I won’t be able to spend any more holidays, eat any of her great cooking, spend time shopping together at her favorite place Dillard’s, and sit at home with her listening to all her childhood stories. She was not only my aunt who named me but she was my caregiver for all my life, my godmother, my friend and my supporter. We shared trips together and she was by my side through every event of my life. I know she is rejoicing with her mom, dad, and two sisters one who is my mom. I will always keep you in my heart Nanny and look forward to seeing you again

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Purdy for your loss. No doubt she lived a long fulfilled life and her family will miss her dearly. Hopefully you can draw comfort from Gods word, as I have, where he promises us that there is going to be a resurrection and that we can be reunited with our loved ones once again - right here on the earth.
