Funeral services for Ruth Chatham, 89 of West Monroe will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday June 25, 2021 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Dub Hatten and Larry “Russy” Hatten officiating. Interment will follow at Zoar Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Ruth was born November 26, 1931 and passed away June 22, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents; Dennis Elsworth Hatten and Bertie Dee (Foster) Hatten; husband Charlie Royal Chatham; sons Dennis Royal Chatham and James Gregory Chatham; brothers Russel Hatten, D.E. Hatten; and sister Virginia Maevonne Thomas.

Ruth is survived by her daughter Beth Willhite and husband Alton; son Lenard Chatham and wife Martha; daughters-in-law, Carolyn Chatham and Felicia Chatham; brothers Elsworth “Cooter” Hatten and wife Jackie and James Ray Hatten; granddaughters Candie, Nickie, Jessica, Megan and Kayla; grandsons Jeremy B., Justin B. and Jeremy W.; 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson to be born in August.

Pallbearers will be Jim Cox, Gary Thomas, Heath Crowe, Larry “Russy” Hatten, Jeremy Bryant and Justin Bryant.

Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley King, Mike King, Larry Thomas and Jeremy Willhite.
