Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Boyd was born July 21, 1918 in LaPar County, Mississippi and passed away October 18, 2007 in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Underwood, Sr. Mrs. Boyd is survived by 5 children; John E. Underwood Sr. and wife Mary, C.J. Underwood Sr. and wife Janey, Ruth ¨Pat Lenard and husband Truett, Ernest L. Underwood Sr. and wife Mary Jon, Lee E. Underwood Sr. and wife Mary; daughter-in-law, Margaret Underwood; and a sister, Myrtle Shavers; 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
