Funeral services for Ruby Redden Chancellor will be held at 1:00 P.M., July 6, 2020 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Rev. Danny McIlvenee will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Ruby was born September 8, 1937 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 2, 2020 in White Hall, Arkansas. She retired in 1999 after serving 35 years as an LPN at St. Francis Medical Center. Ruby was a longtime member, serving in various capacities, for the Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurses Examiners, the Louisiana Federation of LPN’s and the National Federation of LPN’s.She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Chancellor; daughter, Sally Trahan; sisters, Ann Lowry and Patsy Sellers; brothers, Harvey Redden and Alfred “Buddy” Redden.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Donna Adams and husband, Randy; grandchildren, Bo Clowers and wife, Kori, Jacob Clowers and wife, Ashley, Jason Garsee and wife, Robin, Jennifer Kokinos and husband, Deno, and Johnny Adams; great-grandchildren, Chance Clowers, Carson Clowers, Hayden Garsee, Tyler Garsee, Kaleb Stark and Isabella Kokinos; sisters, Cindy Elee and husband Larry and Helen Davis; brother-in-law, Robert Lowry numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.

Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Ruby loved her Lord, Jesus Christ, her family and nursing and in that order!
