Funeral services for MIs. Ruby Scott, 90, of Sterlington, LA will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Monroe, with Rev. Butch Goodman officiating. Interment to follow at Monroe Memorial Park, under the direction of Kilpatrick-Monroe. Mrs. Scott was born January 29, 1917 in Jackson, MS. and died October 6, 2007 at S1. Joseph Nursing Home. Mrs. Scott attended S1. Andrews Methodist Church until her health started to fail, and then moved her membership to Fairbanks Baptist Church. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh V. Scott. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Scott Barr; two grandchildren, Patricia McKeithen Lightsey and Wayne Lavell Barr; four great grandchildren, Jeremy Sean Lightsey, Lisa Nicole Barr, Keisha Lynn Barr and Scott Wayne Barr; and several nieces and nephews.
