Ruby Bogie Best Stilwell Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Bogie Best Stilwell, 85, of Monroe, LA, will be at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 29, 2007, in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Keith Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Monroe Memorial Park under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Born December 6, 1921, in Delhi, LA, she was a daughter of the late Augustus and Lillie Mae Sikes Bogie. A homemaker and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Stilwell was a member of the Dunn Baptist Church. She passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2007, in Monroe, LA. Preceding her in death was her first husband, James Best; her second husband, John Stilwell; her son, Lewis Best; her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Clyde Beaird; her sisters, Daisy Wilcher and Fanny Hart; and a brother, Jessie Bogie. Mrs. Stilwell is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara Dugat of Monroe and Martha Stokes of Rayville; her former daughter-in-law, Marcia Best O≠Bryant of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Michael, Bridget, and Tiffany Best, Cheryl Griffin, Kerry Beaird, Eddie and Cathy Stokes, Kimberly Yancey, Kelli Bolin, and Pam Nickola; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Wesley and A. G. Bogie; and 2 sisters, Louise Evans and Bernice Brunell. Pallbearers are Kerry Beaird, Eddie Stokes, Little Kerry Beaird, Craig Bolin, Shane Yancey, and Steve Evans.
