Interment will follow at Ouachita City Cemetery in Spencer, LA.Mr. McPherson was born on May 12, 1933 in Epps, LA and passed away on September 10, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. He was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver for Burlington Motor Carriers. He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen P. McPherson.He is survived by his wife, Loretta McPherson; son, Gary McPherson and wife, Linda; daughters, Amy McPherson Davis and husband, David and Amanda McPherson Towns and husband, Brandon; daughter-in-law, Lisa McPherson; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be, Jeff McPherson, Robert Freeman, Roger Rogers, Mark Bethea, Rick McAdams, and Jr. Duckett.Honorary Pallbearers will be, Howard Hines, Brandon Towns, and David Davis.Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, September 12, 2014 at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church on 80th Street in Monroe, LA.
