Ronald “Ronnie” Holloway Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville, LA Funeral services for Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Holloway 72 of Truxno, LA, will be held Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Conway Baptist Church in Conway, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Bill Bearden, Rev. Richard Methvin, and Rev. Paul Carter. Interment will be held at Laran Cemetery in Laran, LA under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mr. Holloway was born on October 7, 1941 in Laran, LA, and passed away on December 21, 2013 at his residence in Truxno, LA. He was co-owner of Holloway Brothers Construction Co. He was an avid farmer and loved to hunt and fish. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1963 aboard the nuclear submarine USS Thresher. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benoit and Janet Holloway and sister, Sharon Methvin. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Holloway of Truxno, LA; son, Mitchell Holloway; daughters, Rona Holloway and Haley Auger and husband Kane; grandchildren, Sydney Miller, Claudia Booker, Hunter Gifford, Micah Allen, and Asah Holloway; sister, Mellie Roberts; brothers, John Holloway and wife Mary Faye, and Benoit Holloway and wife Pam. Pallbearers will be nephews: Chad Holloway, Ben Holloway, Paul Methvin, Willie Holloway, Joseph Roberts, and Edward Roberts. Visitation will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.
