Ronald “Frog” Rhodes, 55, of Marion, Louisiana, was born to Dewey and Juanita Rhodes on November 15, 1968 and passed away on December 7, 2023. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dean Baptist Church in Marion. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Dean Baptist Church with Bro. Bubba Hoggatt and Bro. Don Reeves officiating. Interment will be at Dean Baptist Cemetery under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Farmerville.
Frog was a devoted father and husband, and boss who always had a smile on his face. He was a member of Dean Baptist Church and worked for ARB for 30 years.
Frog was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Ann Rhodes; his daughter, Hope Rhodes; and father-in-law, Charles Ray.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Peggy Lynn Rhodes; father, Dewey Lane Rhodes, Sr.; daughter, Logan Jannell Rhodes Steed (Ira) of Marion; brothers Dewey “Jed” Rhodes, Jr. (Jo Ann) and Richard “Monkey” Rhodes (Vera); sister, Terri Martinez (Lupe); mother-in-law, Elizabeth “Nonnie” Ray; cousin, Tina Turner Spells; special friend “like a brother,” Shane Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shane Smith, Alan Gantz, Dustin Rhodes, Tyree Rhodes, Kelly Jo Patrick, Michael Thomas, Tim Rinehart, Wade Harrell and David Roberson. Honorary pallbearers will be Carlos Iniguez, Travis Balckom, Randy Tucker, Harold Lee Cupid, and the ARB Underground Division.
