A memorial gathering in for Ronald “Ronnie” Bouwel will be held from 4:00p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday August 12, 2023 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home- West Monroe.

Ronnie Bouwel was born February 26, 1959 and passed away August 7, 2023. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed his work in the oilfield for over 40 years. Ronnie will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Bouwel and Faye Shively; son, Wendell Bouwel; sister, Jane Bennett; nephews, Micah (Ben) Crowell and Lance Popovic.

Ronnie is survived by his son, Ronald Clifton Bouwel, Jr. and wife Angela; daughters, Alisha Stutson and husband Jonathon, Shelby Bouwel and Kati Guillot and husband Matthew; grandchildren, Malissa, Lannie, Audree, Anaikatee, Kameron, Kobe, Kaleigh, Kaydance, Navia and Ivey; brothers, James Bouwel and wife B.J., Stevie Bouwel and wife Frankie and Earl Bennett; sisters Connie Crowell and Karla Perry and husband Mike; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends

Ronnie was always one to make people laugh and not make you feel awkward. Ronnie would purposely fall while skating so you wouldn’t look bad or he would scare you to death thinking he was drowning only to find out he was prancing. He loved life.

Revelation 21:3,4 says "G od himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. We look forward to that time.

Sending my love and my thoughts and prayers are with y'all. Ronnie is a great guy and I sure hate to hear this.
