Funeral services for Robert Terry Foster, Jr., age 44, of Spearsville, LA will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Camp Creek Baptist Church in Spearsville, LA. Rev. Joe Aulds and Rev. David Abernathy will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Robert was born on May 15, 1968 in Bernice, LA, and passed away on November 18, 2012 in Ruston, LA, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He is survived by his mother – Mariola Hollis Foster of Ruston, LA; brother – Jeffrey Foster and his wife Penny of Spearsville, LA; sister – Jerri Abernathy and her husband David of Ruston, LA; and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Visitation will be held from 1 PM till time of service on Wednesday at the church. Pallbearers will be: Jason Ledet, Kerry Aulds, Robert Claypool, Domenic Giardina, Randy Putnam, and Frank Hawkins. I was sorry to learn of Robert's passing. He fought a good fight, but it is still terrible to lose one still in the prime of his life. My thoughts are with all of you during this trying time.

There just aren't any words... Robert will be missed. You are all in my prayers.

I wish I could gather the right words to make expression for my sympathy in the loss of a truly wonderful person. Robert will forever be in my memories of growing up in Spearsville.

There aren't enough words to express how wonderful and caring of a person Robert Foster was. He will always hold a special place in our hearts as one of my family's closest friends. We look forward to seeing him in heaven and will miss his friendship and company during our time left on earth. Our prayers and sympathy go out to his family during this time.

Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Robert was always such a kind person.

We are so sorry for your loss but in the same moment so glad that Robert is not hurting anymore. He fought a long brave battle with cancer. We will miss him. Love to all of your family.
