Robert was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He and Virginia were two very honest, generous, caring, selfless people! Prayers for Virginia and the family.

Mr. Riser was a very special man to me and I cherish every memory I have of the many school bus rides I took where he would let me operate the buttons on the console as I sat next to him. I don't remember any other student being allowed to do so as long as I was riding the bus. He made me feel like the most important person in his world on those days especially. He knew my schedule better than I did for what days I needed to get off at my grandmother's instead of my house and he would even quiz me on my spelling words as he drove all of his previous cargo to and from school. As an adult with children of my own, he always gave me a big hug every time I saw him still making me feel like that child who looked up to him so much. What a great man and example for us to follow!
