Robert Earl Lee ¨Bob Bass, Jr. Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Robert Earl Lee Bass, Jr., 76, of West Monroe, will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00AM in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse McMillan and Rev. Jerry Istre officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Cities Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mr. Bass was born December 27, 1930, in Monroe, LA, and passed away, February 14, 2007, after a lengthy fight with cancer. Mr. Bass retired after 45 years of service, as the lead steel rule die maker with the Manville Corporation. He was a member of the Cadeville Lodge #229, and Scottish Rites, and the Barak Shrine, serving in the Jesters, the Director≠s Staff, the Roadrunners, and the ¨Q. He also served in the Louisiana National Guard with Company I of the 199th Infantry. Mr. Bass was past president of the West Monroe Lions Club and a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ. Mr. Bass was preceded in death by his grandson, Jason Neil Bass, and by his great grandson, Jonathan Branam. Survivors include his beloved wife, Vivian Hughes Bass; his three children, Robert Oren Bass and wife, Teresa, Ivan Neil Bass and wife, Pam, and Kim Bass Istre and husband, Jerry; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Paul Bass, Daniel Bass, Andrew Bass, Joel Istre, Rob Bruce, and Ben Cagle. Memorials may be made to The Shriners Hospital.
