Robert Frederick “Bob” Haworth Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Funeral services for Robert Frederick “Bob” Haworth will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jerry Hilbun and Rev. Rolly Walker. Interment will follow at Pines Memorial Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Robert Frederick Haworth, age 74, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 in Ruston, Louisiana. He was born October 10, 1938, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He graduated from San Angelo Central High School in San Angelo, Texas, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin. During his 43 year career, he worked for Austin Bridge Company in Texas; Moro, Inc. in Warren, Arkansas; TL. James & Company in Ruston, Louisiana; and Southern Pavers, Inc. in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Following his retirement in 2004, along with gardening, traveling, and devoting himself to his wife, children, and grandchildren, he found many opportunities to enjoy his favorite hobby: fishing. Regular trips to Toledo Bend in Texas and to the White River in Arkansas, as well as memorable trips with his son to Brazil to fish for peacock bass and to Mexico with his son and other avid fishermen, filled his leisure time. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Frederick Haworth and Vinita Leona Bowers Haworth, and by his brother, Charles Lee Haworth. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marylou Patricia Haworth; a son, Robert Frederick Haworth, Jr and wife Angela of Texarkana, Arkansas; a daughter, Melinda Kay Rowell of Texarkana, Arkansas; and five grandchildren: Robert Randall Haworth, Katherine Leigh Haworth, Hannah Elizabeth Haworth, Christopher Matthew Rowell, and Justin Dewayne Rowell Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston.
