Funeral services for Robby McGrew will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday October 18, 2021 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Rick McPherson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the church under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Robby was born on May 3, 1958 and passed away October 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Catherine McGrew; grandfather, Oscar Whitehead and his brother, Ronnie McGrew.

Robby was the owner/operator of McGrew Dozer and Backhoe. He was always riding a Caterpillar Tractor and playing in the dirt. Robby loved the Lord and his family. He treated others like he wanted to be treated. Robby’s favorite hobby was deer hunting and running dogs with hunting club friends. His favorite pastime was working in his shop and welding. Robby made many friends in his life and will be remembered by all who knew him.

Robby is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sheila Davis McGrew; daughter, Abby; two brothers, Donald McGrew and his wife Linda and his twin brother, Bobby McGrew and wife Sharol; niece, Robin Carpenter; two nephews, Keith McGrew and Adam McGrew; special aunt Mary Brown; and many other cherished family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Benji Owens, Scott Owens, Brian Owens, Jessie Owens, Guy Owens, and Jacob Owens. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith McGrew, Adam McGrew, and Gary Foster.
