Richard Gale Driskill Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Graveside service for Mr. Richard Gale Driskill, age 56, of Ruston will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Driskill Cemetery near Arcadia under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Mr. Driskill was born October 23, 1954 and passed away November 4, 2010. He served in the United States Navy and was a retired disabled veteran. Mr. Driskill is survived by his sister: Sandy Spillers of Choudrant; brothers: Jimmy Driskill and Joe Driskill both of Ruston; and several nieces and nephews. We are so sorry to hear of Rich's passing at such a late date so as not to have been able to try to attend the visitation or service. God bless and comfort you all as only He can. Your cousin and family Uncle Everette's daughter

Richard and I were inseparable friends while growing up .He will always be a part of who I am .I love Richard, he will truly be missed.This was his favorite time of year. I believe Richard was the best squirrel hunter I have ever seen and a great deer hunter as well. As much as he loved children it was a shame he couldn't have any of his own . I never forget the good times we spent together Hunting,fishing, camping ,frog gigging and all around general mischief we wold get into.It grieved me greatly to see sickness steal his life the way it did. I am sorry I couldn't make it to his funeral ,I didn't hear of his passing until late and I am several hundred miles away.I hope where he's at now will have a good fishn hole and a lucky deer stand and peace at last. God bless you my friend.
