Sandy Wirfs left a message on March 15, 2024:
Rick was our neighbor and we shared Bible research with the family. They appreciated the Kingdom rule by Christ that will make earth a paradise. Today, I saw the tragic aftermath of the fire. The neighbor told me the sad news. The man next door was heart-broken , as we all are. Rick was a happy man with complete confidence in the future. He will not be surprised to return to a paradise where we will have no more pain ,sickness , or death. Rev. 21:3,4 He “rests,” as Lazarus did, only to be “ awakened” in the resurrection. John 5:28,29 Please be comforted. Warm Christian Love and Prayers, Sandy Wirfs

I am so overwhelmed with the loss of Ricky my cousin. I think of times we where together and smile. I know he is smiling big now with Jesus.

Mr. Ricky was quite a character. I met him when I used to sell insurance. He would come in to make a payment and end up sitting at my desk and talking about anything and everything. One day he told me, "Stop calling me Mr. Day! Call me Ricky!" I always looked forward to chatting with him. Rest in peace, Mr. Day, oops I mean Ricky.
