Funeral services for Rhoda Colleen Campbell of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday February 18, 2023 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery- West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Rhoda was born May 16, 1947 in Tulare, California and passed away February 14, 2023 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband James Campbell; father George Lewis; son Thomas Campbell and grandson Christopher Tyler. Rhoda attended First Baptist Church of West Monroe. She loved to read, listen to music, study the Bible, and teach the Bible to young children. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends. Some of Rhoda’s favorite Bible verses included John 3:16, Romans 8:28, Romans 5:8 and Philippians 4:6-7.
Rhoda was a devout Christian and lived a life that magnified the love of Christ. Her steadfast witness was an inspiration to all that were fortunate to know her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, until we see her again in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Rhoda is survived by her mother Bobbie Simmons; children Natalie Campbell and husband Xiaojun Wang, Denise Ford and husband Dewayne, Jimmy Campbell and Bobby Campbell and wife Caitlin; 10 grandchildren Benjamin Ford, Justin Ford, Sydney Campbell, Caitlyn Campbell, McKenzie Ford, Michaela Ford, Koti Campbell, Judah Campbell, Jonah Campbell and Macey Campbell; sisters Carolyn Lomagno, Nettie Lewis and a brother Mikell Putman.
