Graveside service for Rex Robert Furlow will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Hasley Cemetery . Rev. Mark Fenn will be officiating under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rex was born July 5, 1915 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Robert Asa Furlow and Onnie Reynolds Furlow. He entered into rest Sept. 8, 2010 in North Richland Hills, Texas. In 1948 he moved to West Monroe, Louisiana. He was a member of First Baptist Church, West Monroe, a veteran of World War II, a 68 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, traveled with Holiday Rambler Recreational Vehicle Club for over 25 years, and spent many hunting seasons at his deer camp in Caldwell Parish. He is survived by his wife, Beulah French Furlow, daughter Deanna Fava, Colleyville, Texas, grandson Larry Fava, Dallas, Texas, granddaughter, Laura Bowles, husband Travis , and great grandson Trey of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and one special niece Cindy Harris, Long Beach, California. Visitation will be at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe on Saturday from From 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Memorials may be sent to Shriners Hospital, Shreveport, Louisiana.
