Funeral services for Rex Albritton, 84, formerly of Farmerville, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ Farmerville. Bro. James Gardner will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty~Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, June 6, 2022 at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ Farmerville.
Rex was born January 15, 1938 in Farmerville, passed away on June 4, 2022 in Monroe. He and Reba were currently residing in West Monroe and attended McClendon Baptist Church. He was a veteran and served for the U.S. Army and retired from the Local 798 Pipeliners Union. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Eunice Albritton; four sisters, Diane Raymer, Carolyn Moore, Joyce Tucker, Elaine Albritton; brother, Jimmie Albritton.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years, Reba Edwards Albritton; sons, Ricky Cobb and wife JoAnne, Gary Cobb and wife Carolyn, Eddie Albritton and wife Tiffany, Michael Albritton and wife Chasity; grandchildren, Jessica Phillips (Cody), Lyndsi Logue (Will), Justin Cobb (LeeAnn), Anna Cobb Kinnison (Chase), Luke Albritton (Elyse), Annmarie Murphy (Holden), Tyler Albritton, Avery Cobb, Grayson Albritton, Emma Grace Albritton; great-grandchildren, Reese-Caroline and Case Phillips, Ryleigh Faith, Presley and Larkyn Logue, Landry Cobb, Aly Britton Murphy and one on the way, “Miss Everleigh Ann Albritton”; sisters-in-law, LaJune Edwards, Gail Albritton, Susan Edwards; many other cherished family and friends. The family would like to thank his special caregiver, Penny Burchard.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Cobb, Cody Phillips, Will Logue, Chase Kinnison, Luke Albritton, Holden Murphy, Tyler Albritton and Grayson Albritton. Honorary pallbearers will be Case Phillips and Landry Cobb.
