Graveside services for Rev. Clyde M. Grayson will be held at 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island, Louisiana under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe, Louisiana. Rev. Wayne Watson will officiate
Rev. Grayson was born on November 6, 1928 in St. Joseph, Louisiana and passed away on January 8, 2021 in Monroe, Louisiana. He was a minister of the gospel for over 60 years. He pastored several Pentecostal Churches and led many souls to Christ. Rev. Grayson loved reading the Bible and teaching others. He was a devoted husband to his bride for 72 years and was always there for his four children and many others that needed him along the way. Rev. Grayson was loved by so many for his kind gentle heart, but mostly for his funny stories. He loved to make people laugh. Rev. Grayson was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Velda Watson Grayson; brothers, Chester Grayson, Clarence Grayson; sister, Doris Fogleman.
Rev. Grayson lived to be 92 years, 2 months and 2 days. He is survived by his wife, Aileen Morace Grayson; three sons, Gary (Karen) Grayson of Bastrop, Louisiana, Danny (Sue) Grayson of Vidalia, Louisiana, Patrick (Donna) Grayson of Clayton, Louisiana; one daughter, Debra Norton (Randall) of West Monroe, Louisiana; eight grandsons, William (Dana) Grayson, Daniel (Susan) Grayson, Jason Hall, Jacob (Themis) Norton, Jason (Kimberly) Mann, Darren Mann, Chris (Tricia) Mann, Rick Grayson; granddaughters, Eve (Joel) Stromer, Tashia (Jeromy) Howell, Julia (Jeremy) LaBorde, Lindsey (Josh) Wallace; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; nieces, nephews, and many other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
