Graveside services for Mr. Raymond Moore, 89, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Riverview Cemetery, Monroe. Pastor Dwight Munn will officiate under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mr. Moore was born October 3, 1921 and passed away March 14, 2011. Mr. Moore served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a gifted gardener, loved cooking, and enjoyed spending time at the Oaks. Mr. Moore loved his family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Willie Cynthia Sammons Moore of 47 years. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 14 years, Ruth Davis Moore: daughters, Cynthia Lee Wilson and husband, Robert; and Linda Moore; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sue Nelms. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
