Funeral services for Raymond Michael Scott, 31, will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Family Church located at 320 Laird Street, West Monroe with Michael Stravato officiating. Services are under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Raymond was born October 30, 1980, in Gulfport, MS and passed away March 16, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Raymond was a faithful member of Family Church. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching LSU and Saints Football with family and friends. His father Michael Ray Scott, grandfather Fred Mitchell Parish, and grandparents Donna and Ray Scott preceded Raymond in death. Raymond is survived by his mother Pam Lavender and husband Rusty of Monroe, LA; sisters Jessica Turner and husband Ernie of Sachse, TX and Johnye Lavender of Monroe, LA; grandparents Geraldine and Allie Lovell of West Monroe, LA; nieces Anna Turner, Isabella Turner, Elayna Turner, and nephew Michael Turner all of Sachse, Texas; his special aunts and uncles who were always there, Melanie and Greg Luke of West Monroe, LA, and Debra and Ron Scott of West Monroe, LA; as well as many other family members and friends. Memorials may be made in Raymond's name to the Northeast Louisiana Food Bank or St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy. Visitation will be held Monday, March 19, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
